Chandler Capital Group Acquires Free Spirit Recreation
Springdale, AR — February 2, 2026 — Chandler Capital Group announced
today the acquisition of Free Spirit Recreation (FSR), a respected leader in
rooftop tents and camping solutions founded in 2014 & headquartered in
Golden, Colorado. The acquisition marks a continued investment in the outdoor
and off-road automotive space and strengthens the company’s ability to
deliver high-quality, purpose-built products to the outdoor adventure
community.

Backwoods Adventure Mods division, aligning two brands built on durability,
function, and hands-on product development. Customers can expect the same
trusted FSR products, now supported by expanded operational resources and
long-term growth planning.
Together, the brands create a more complete ecosystem of vehicle-based
adventure gear, combining off-road armor and accessories with premium
rooftop tents and camping solutions.
Chandler Capital Group plans to preserve FSR’s brand identity and customer-first
culture. Operations will relocate to Springdale, Arkansas, alongside Backwoods
Adventure Mods, establishing a shared hub for engineering, marketing,
customer service, and logistics.
