Chandler Capital Group Expands Through Strategic Acquisition of Roambuilt
Original Feature Published April 24, 2024Chandler Capital Group, formerly Chandler Equipment, has acquired Oregon-based van-accessories maker Roambuilt, expanding our product offerings into exterior van accessories for Sprinter vans. The acquisition, completed April 1, includes all of Roambuilt’s designs, patents, trademarks, and website. No moves of the original Oregon staff will occur; instead, five new team members will be hired in Springdale to run the operation.
This move marks a significant step forward for CCG’s growth trajectory: we’ve grown roughly 30% over the past three years, added 30,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space last summer (bringing total operating space to about 92,000 sq ft), and with this acquisition we broaden our capacity to serve customers across multiple lines from overlanding rigs to industrial and van-based solutions.
Why This Matters
The addition of Roambuilt strengthens our footprint in the automotive accessories market particularly around Sprinter van accessories while reinforcing our larger strategy to unify multiple brands under Chandler Capital Group. This move not only diversifies our offerings but also underscores CCG’s commitment to purposeful growth, craftsmanship, and real-world performance.
For customers and partners, it means broader product selection, deeper manufacturing and design resources, and the confidence that every product is built under the same roof: by people who care deeply about quality and real-world utility.
“We’re excited to welcome Roambuilt into the CCG family,” said Chris Chandler, President and CEO. “This acquisition allows us to bring new van-accessory solutions to our community while upholding the craftsmanship and purpose we’ve built our reputation on. It’s not just about growth, it’s about expanding our ability to build products that solve real problems for real people.”
